Trauma, Stress, and Disasters (Natural and Human-Made)
From time to time, children are exposed to news about traumatic events in our world. Whether the news is about natural disasters such as hurricanes or tornadoes, or about disasters created by people, such as shootings or other attacks, adults need to help children make sense of scary news around them.
